Sun exalted in Aries election

The Sun has been talking his way through Aries for the last few days. Here the Sun expresses itself in its most powerful and unrestrained form. Being exalted in Aries, the Sun is magnificent, potent and manifests his royal power.

If we wish to capture some of the glorious light and warmth of this planetary essence in the hopes of harnessing this solar influence to improve our lives, to obtain honour, the friendship of the powerful, to be noticed, for wealth, success and health, there is no better time to make a solar talisman.

Whether it is fame and renown, wealth or preferment, the Sun provides for them all just as his light and warmth provide for all on Earth.

It is not, however, merely enough to have the Sun at home to receive his favours we also need to ensure that he is properly placed to aid us. The following election does just that – at least for those living in London, UK – and is the most potent time to create a Sun talisman.

The Election

The time is 1303 (1:03PM) on 3 April 2020.  The election is set for London, UK.

The Sun is culminating and exalted in Aries, it is unafflicted, and makes no aspects with other planets (using a standard 10 degree orb).  The Moon is peregrine in Leo, waxing, and makes an applying trine aspect to the Sun with reception.

The Picatrix suggests a few images we can use to draw on talismans:

A woman standing in a chariot drawn by four horses, a mirror in her right hand, a stick held above her breast in her left hand, and flowers above her head

A man standing, as if to salute someone, with a buckler in his left hand and a dragon under his feet

A crowned king sitting on his throne, with a crow before him and some secret sigils of the Sun beneath his feet

All of these images express the royal power of the Sun and depict his place of honour in the heavens.

Any of these images, or simply the table and sigils of the Sun given in Agrippa’s Three Books of Occult Philosophy, can be created at the elected time.  This image should then be suffumigated with an appropriately Solar incense and a petition recited to the Sun for what you desire.
